AXA BRIGA
Axa Briga è il parco tematico di rievocazione storica dell’evo antico preromano, immerso nella campagna a pochi chilometri da Ivrea. Ad Axa Briga l’Associazione Camelot propone differenti attività legate alla vita dei Salassi, antico popolo celtico stanziato in Canavese e Valle d’Aosta durante il periodo V-I sec. a.C.
Axa Briga is the theme park of historical re-enactment of the ancient pre-Roman era, nestling in the countryside a few kilometers from Ivrea. In Axa Briga the Camelot Association offers different activities related to the life of the Salassi, an ancient Celtic people settled in Canavese and Valle d’Aosta during the V-I century B.C.
CHIESA DI SAN BONOMIO ABATE
La leggenda racconta che un drago apparve sulle rive del lago di Viverone e ovunque si posasse, seminava morte. San Bonomio lo affrontò: alla sua preghiera e benedizione il drago si posò a terra, si aprì una voragine e lo inghiottì. In quel luogo venne eretta la chiesa di San Bonomio.
Legend tells that a dragon appeared on the shores of Lake Viverone and wherever it landed, it sowed death. San Bonomio faced him: at his prayer and blessing the dragon landed on the ground, a chasm opened and swallowed him. In that piace the church of San Bonomio was built.
