Un borgo antico di origine romana fra vigneti e coltivazioni distribuite sul pendio di un colle alla cui sommità si trova la Chiesa parrocchiale di San Genesio e la torre dell’orologio. Dalla piazza della chiesa, si gode di una bella vista sulla piana sottostante. E’ attraversato dalla via Francigena canavesana.

An ancient village of roman origins among vineyards and farm fields, distributed along a hill, on top of which there is the parish church of S. Genesio, and the clock tower. From the church square, you can also enjoy a beautiful view on the plain below. The town is crossed by the Francigena route.

CHIESA PARROCCHIALE DI SAN GENESIO

Venne realizzata fra il 1762 e il 1780, al posto dell’antica chiesa parrocchiale risalente all’anno Mille circa, in stile tardo barocco e arricchita nell’800 di decorazioni e arredi. Custodisce le reliquie di San Genesio, martire romano del III sec. condotte in processione l’ultima domenica di agosto.

Built between 1762 and 1780, in the piace of the ancient parish church (since around the year 1000) in late Baroque style and enriched in the 19th century with decorations and furnishings. It houses the relics of San Genesio, a Roman martyr of the third century, conducted in procession in august.
